MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of Oman Equestrian Federation (OEF) held its first meeting of the year at its headquarters under the chair of Sayyid Munthir bin Saif al Busaidi, Chairman of the Board.
The meeting agreed to participate in the 3rd World Tent Pegging Cup 2018 with the first team. It was agreed to prepare the team by having a camp in the Sultanate in the coming period.
The meeting discussed the participation in the Asian Jumping Championship. Hamoud bin Sultan al Touqi, member of the Board of Directors, has been assigned to develop an integrated perception in this regard and to submit to the board.
The meeting discussed the reduction of OEF budget for this year, with an emphasis on the importance of rationalisation in the expenditures and search for other outlets of revenue through the activation of the marketing and promotion of the sport. — ONA
