Entire stretch of 181km of Sinaw-Mahut-Duqm road opened for traffic today

The Ministry of Transport and Communications opened the fully-completed 181km Sinaw-Mahut-Duqm road for public today.  The Undersecretary for land transport and other officials were present on the occasion.  In February this year, the first phase of 109km of the road (around 60 per cent) was opened for traffic.  The Sinaw – Mahout – Duqm road is one of the important and strategic projects in the Sultanate as it links the Special Economic Zone in Duqm (SEZAD) in Al Wusta with the governorates of North Sharqiyah and Dakhiliyah and Muscat.
