MUSCAT: A convoy of ten electric cars, covering a distance of over 1,200 km starting from Abu Dhabi, arrived at Crowne Plaza hotel in Suhar on Saturday. The electric cars will reach Muscat today and will be treated with 18 charging stations on the route, including at Crowne Plaza Yas Island, Crowne Plaza Sohar, Crowne Plaza Muscat, InterContinental Muscat, and InterContinental Fujairah, where they will remain as a permanent fixture. These stations will be officially opened as the electric cars reach these destinations. There will be an electric vehicle test drive show at Sultan Qaboos University parking on Sunday from 1 pm. The Future Mobility Roundtable discussion will take place at InterContinental, Muscat on January 22. The event will highlight the most important strategies for the future of electric vehicles in the Sultanate
