Draft tenders for food commodities discussed

MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Stores and Food Reserves (PASFR) held its second meeting on Sunday under the chairmanship of Dr Fuad bin Jaafar al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries. The meeting reviewed the implementation of the decisions of the previous meeting of the board and discussed a number of items on the agenda, most notably the discussion of the draft of tenders for food commodities in the authority, design bags of rice packaging, subsidy of goods and the decision to fix prices. The meeting discussed the website of the authority, reviewed minutes of the previous meetings of the Tenders Committee, and the meeting took the appropriate decisions on the issues on the agenda. — ONA
