MUSCAT: The Oman Water Society (OWS) celebrated its first achievement and launched a film that documents the Sultanate’s policy of establishing an integrated water resource management programme based on the vision and pillars established by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos from the beginning of the blessed Renaissance.
The inauguration ceremony was held under the auspices of Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, at the Diplomatic Club in Al Qurum.
Zahir bin Khalid al Sulaimani, Chairman of OWS, said the society is inviting researchers to explore a larger and broader study in this field, adding that the water sector has received great attention from His Majesty the Sultan to consolidate the principles of integrated water resource management. — ONA
