By Lakshmi Kothaneth — MUSCAT: Dec 7: The four explorers promoting desert tourism on camels will conclude their journey on Thursday. The public will be able to meet them at Bidiya Park at 4 pm. The group, comsisting of Ahmed al Marouqi, Mohammed al Zedjali, Amour al Wohaibi, and Ahmed al Jenaibi, along with their guide Salem al Wohaibi from Sharqiyah Sands, have had a fruitful journey, meeting tourists at stops at Thousand Night Desert Camp and Al Raha Camp in Bidiya. Speaking to the Observer at Sharqiya Sands, Al Zedjali, who had earlier this year crossed the Empty Quarter with Mark Evans and Amar al Wohaibi, said this was a “different experience” because he learnt more about dealing with camels.
