MUSCAT: Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) said that Oman oil price for April delivery on Thursday reached $66.40. The DME statement said that the price of Oman oil rose 77 cents from the price of Wednesday, which was $65.67. The average price of Oman oil for February delivery has stabilised at $61.60, thus 81 cents per barrel higher than January delivery. US crude futures gained 0.1 per cent to $64.79 per barrel in early trade after gaining 7.7 per cent in January, the best month for the contract since September.
