Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA) rescued a construction worker on Thursday in a critical condition following a landslide in the Al Khoud area of Seeb.
A statement from PACDA said, "The Operations Center received a report that one of the construction workers of an Asian nationality was trapped following a landslide at the work site in the Al Khoud area of Seeb. After exhausting and intensive efforts, the team members were able to reach out to him, remove him from the mud debris and hand him over to the ambulance team, who provided the emergency medical care and transferred the patient to the hospital in critical condition."
PACDA has urged the owners of the buildings and contractors to take caution during the construction and ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines.
