Al Khabourah: Al Khabourah Fort has regained its former glory following the completion of the renovations project overseen by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture.
The project involved reconstructing the fort’s crumbling walls beside comprehensive renovation of the building by using the original materials such mud and stones.
The aim of the project is to maintain the fort as an important landmark constituting part of the national heritage.
Al Khabourah Fort is one of the historic landmarks in the wilayat and a major tourist destination distinguished by unique beauty and ease of access.
