Committee to study education role in knowledge economy

MUSCAT: The Education & Research Committee at its first meeting of the third session gave assent to the formation of the sub-committee to study role of education in supporting the knowledge economy and its plan of action for the third session. The meeting headed by Dr Abdullah bin Mubarak al Shanfari, Head of the committee, which discussed the proposals of the committee’s topics and its work plan for the current session. The meeting also approved the minutes of the previous meeting of the committee and performed a follow-up of the decisions taken thereon, and reviewed the work and take action on them.
