Command Exercises progress reviewed

MUSCAT: Lt Gen Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (Director of Exercise), Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (Commander of the Joint Forces), Air Vice-Marshal Matar bin Ali al Obaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (Head of Exercise Control), Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (Deputy Director of Exercise) on Sunday followed up the progress of the events of the Command Centres Exercises Joint Effort 10. They were briefed along with senior officers on the progress of these events, and on the work of the cells and sections of the military, security and civil sectors taking part in the exercise and the tasks and their roles at all levels. The exercise Joint Effort 10 is part of the Sultanate’s preparations for the national exercise Al Shumoukh 2 and the joint Omani-British exercise Express Sword 3 scheduled for next October. — ONA
