Muscat: The Coast Guard rescued five people from drowning as they were swimming on the coast near Seeb.
According to a statement, the injured - two citizens, two Egyptian nationals and a person of British nationality were provided with the first aid by the police ambulance unit after they were
rescued.
All of them are reportedly in good health.
ROP urged swimmers to follow safety guidelines and instructions before venturing into the sea.
