Muscat: Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said that the Al Khoud police station arrested a citizen in a hit and run case that led to a person's death and escaped from the site.
The body of the victim was found around 3:3o am on Saturday.
Following intensive search operations, the accused who admitted to the crime was arrested.
The vehicle was also seized by the police with the and legal formalities initiated.
