Children First Association honours winners of citizenship values campaign

MUSCAT: The Children First Association on Wednesday honoured winners of the “Values Campaign to Promote Values of Citizenship and Respect” of students in grades 1 to 4, organised during 2016-2017 during a ceremony held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Taimour bin Asaad al Said, Assistant Secretary-General for International Cooperation of the Research Council. Dr Sayyedah Muna bint Fahd al Said, Chairperson of the Association, said that the association started its work in 2013 to serve the society. After five years, it managed to establish itself as one of the distinguished NGOs in work and giving and it has more than 200 members. At the end of the ceremony, HH Sayyid Taimour honoured the winners of the “Values Campaign to Promote Values of Citizenship and Respect” in various fields, in addition to honouring the participating schools in the campaign. — ONA
