NIZWA, Dec 19 - A work camp was held in Wadi Kabloh area of Nizwa in which children of Al Wafaa Centre in cooperation with the Municipality of Nizwa, and students of Sultan bin Saif School for Basic Education participated. The participants cleaned the area removed the wastes and trimmed trees on both sides of the road, settlements and paved the area. Another group of participants working in the agricultural reserve owned by Al Wafaa Centre in Nizwa also took part in the cleaning work. They removed the weeds surrounding the plants, installed ropes for the purpose of seedling in reserves as well as trimmed and settled the soil.
Coinciding with the activities of the forum, a recreational day was held for the children of the centre in one of the commercial complexes. The children also enjoyed playing various sports and electronic games. The forum is held annually recognising the importance of the category which should receive such care and attention. The Forum is organised by Wadi Kalboh team in cooperation with Al Wafaa Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled in Nizwa.
