MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidy, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, received in his office at Mu’askar Bait Al Falaj on Monday Lt Gen Sir John Lorimer, Defence Senior Adviser to the Middle East in the United Kingdom (UK). The two sides reviewed fields of the military cooperation between the two friendly countries. They also discussed a range of matters of common concern. The meeting was attended by the UK ambassador to the Sultanate, the Military Attaché at the UK Embassy in Muscat and the delegation accompanying the guest. Lt Gen Sir John Lorimer also met separately with Air Vice Marshal Matar bin Ali al Obaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), and Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO). — ONA
