Muscat: Five people died in a traffic accident in Suwaiq, reported Royal Oman Police on Sunday.
According to sources, the accident took place as a truck collided with the ill-fated taxi near the Suwaiq roundabout.
The victims included two Omanis and three expatriates who died on the spot, according to sources.
One expatriate of an Asian nationality was seriously injured in the accident.
