Boost to cultural cooperation with Japanese Friendship Society

MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, received on Thursday a delegation of the Omani-Japanese Friendship Society, which is currently visiting the Sultanate under the chairmanship of the Executive Chairman of the Association, Ambassador Keiji Omori.


The Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry welcomed the visiting delegation and expressed the Sultanate’s appreciation for the initiative of the Association and its concerns towards supporting joint cultural, economic, educational and tourist cooperation.


The meeting touched on the existing friendly relations between the two countries and the interest of the association in contributing to the strengthening of cultural links and exchanges and encouraging tourism and educational trips between the two peoples.


The Japanese side praised the great development witnessed by the Sultanate and the many achievements it has made in various fields.
