MUSCAT: Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, on Thursday will preside over the launch of Al Roya newspaper’s book titled “A Message to My Father,” which is sponsored by Bait Al Zubair. The new book includes some ideas and messages written by Omani children to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Al Roya newspaper announced the launch of the book on the occasion of the 48th Glorious National Day in a bid to provide Omani children with the opportunity to express their loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan. The book was compiled by writers Basmah al Khatriyah and Muhannad al Aqoos. They received hundreds of letters signed by Omani children. As many as 200 letters of children’s writings were selected and compiled in 140-page book. During the launch ceremony, which will be held at Bait Al Zubair in Muscat, children who contributed to the book will be honoured. — ONA
