Over the years, Muscat Festival has played a key role in promoting Oman as a regional and international tourism destination
MUSCAT: Extending its support to initiatives and events that promote Omani cultural heritage and enrich the tourism sector, BankDhofar extended its support to Muscat Festival 2017.
Commenting on the bank’s participation in Muscat Festival 2017, Ahmed Said al Ibrahim (pictured), Chief Corporate Services Officer, noted: “Over the years, Muscat Festival has played a key role in promoting Oman as a regional and international tourism destination through various cultural festivities and remarkable representation of the long-rooted cultural heritage of the Sultanate.
This year, the festival comes in with a new look and renewed global events for audience of all age groups. It also celebrates the Sultanate’s growth and comprehensive development under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.
BankDhofar has been very supportive of the festival and our participation this year demonstrates our commitment to practice our role as an integrated part of the social fabric and to celebrate with our valued customers and the community at large.”
Cultural and literary events and activities of the Muscat Festival 2017 will run through February 11, and will mainly take place in Al Amirat Park, Al Naseem Park and the Oman Automobile Association (OAA) as well as various locations across Muscat Governorate.
