MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, as part of its ‘Let’s Do More’ vision and commitment to partnership in encouraging a savings culture in Oman, hosted Premier banking customers and al Mazyona quarterly prize draw in Salalah. Dr Hassan bin Said Kashoob, President of Dhofar University, presided at the celebration and picked the winners at the event attended by dignitaries and Management Team members of the bank.
Seventeen winners, including five from asalah Priority Banking and four from al Jawhar Privilege Banking, won high value prizes ranging from RO 25,000 to RO 100,000.
The high value al Mazyona prizes included RO 100,000 each for five asalah Priority banking customers, RO 50,000 each for four al Jawhar Privilege banking customers and RO 25,000 each for eight customers. Enhancing a strong savings habit among members of society, al Mazyona savings scheme supports customers to fulfil their dreams and aspirations.
With RO 10 million prize money guaranteeing more for everyone to share, 2017 al Mazyona savings scheme is the biggest prize money in Oman and the region.

Al Mazyona offers high savings customers of asalah Priority Banking chances to be among 4 winners of RO 30,000 monthly prizes, 5 winners of RO 100,000 quarterly prizes and 4 winners of RO 250,000 year-end prizes. Bank Muscat has also reserved 4 monthly prizes of RO 20,000 and four quarterly prizes of RO 50,000 for al Jawhar Privilege Banking customers.
Notably, al Mazyona has an exciting salary transfer scheme to reward winners with a fixed salary prize of RO 500 every month for a year. All that customers need to do is transfer their salary of RO 500 and above to the bank. In all, 15 customers are rewarded every month in the salary transfer scheme.
Adding excitement to festivals and national celebrations, the 2017 scheme rewards customers with special prizes. al Mazyona continues to be the only savings scheme to recognise and reward loyalty for customers based on their association with the bank.
A special prize draw offering RO 3,000 each for 42 winners from 14 regions was held recently in celebration of Eid Al Fitr.
An exclusive draw for Zeinah women customers coinciding with the Omani Women’s Day in October is another highlight in which 10 customers will be rewarded with RO 10,000 each. On the occasion of the Sultanate’s 47th National Day, a special draw will be held offering RO 2,000 each for 47 winners.
