Muscat, Jan. 30 -

Thrill rides, bungee jumps and intellectual games… Children are spoilt for choice with a range of rides and games, besides an exclusive kids’ zone, at both the Muscat Festival venues: Amerat Park and Naseem Park.

While keeping the tradition and heritage intact, the organisers have left no stone unturned in ensuring children from four to 12 years enjoy fun rides and other games through the 24 days of the festival.

Children of all age groups are in for a treat at the amusement areas specially designed for them.

From a giant roller-coaster that spins and throws, to rides that twirl, soar and whirl, the little ones are left asking for more.

“We have more than 25 rides and other exciting entertainment facilities to make the festival a truly children’s festival,” said a Muscat Municipality official at Naseem Park.

The entertainment activities range from mini-pirate ships, swingers, trampoline and helicopters and bikes to Aladdin, and battery-operated cars, bumper cars and bikes.

While jugglers and stilt-walkers keep them going, clowns, Drop Zone, Bumper Boat, Samba Balloon, and Flavio Slide are leaving the kids awestruck.

“We have rides and games for children of all ages,” says Zidane, an Egyptian national working for the company that is offering the rides.

“They can also enjoy Kangaroo Master Jump, Wild Mouse Challenger, Frisbee Discovery, Crazy Wave, Wacky Worm and Pirate Ship,” he adds.

Not just that, there are fun games such as Rapid River, Mega Drop, Magic Disco Coaster, toys for kids, Cinema 7D, tour train and Master Jump to keep the children busy.
