Muscat: A low pressure area has formed over southeast Arabian Sea & neighbourhood, reported the Indian Meteorology.

"It is very likely to become more marked during next 12 hours, concentrate into a Depression and

move northwestwards during subsequent 24 hours. It is very likely to intensify into a Cyclonic Storm

and move towards Oman Coast thereafter."

Meanwhile, Oman Meteorology said it is following up the weather conditions in the Arabian Sea and confirms it is in line with all possible weather variables during the current season ( October and November) . It follows the established procedures when monitoring any tropical situation that may affect the Sultanate's climate.
