Muscat: The Ministry of Health conducted a workshop to review child health programmes in Muscat on Monday. The workshop was aimed at 160 doctors and nurses. The participants were briefed on the management and handling of suspected child abuse cases. The workshop addressed child vaccination, national screening practices including autism and newborn screenings for thyroid or hearing impairment.
