Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Monday said that four people have been arrested on charges of impersonation, robbery and kidnapping in Salalah. The accused entered the victims’ accommodation posing as policemen, stole their wallets and valuables. They also kidnapped one person after stealing his belongings. ROP official called on the people to verify the official status of strangers before allowing them to enter homes or handing over documents.
