Muscat: Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) and Omanoil Company signed an agreement on Wednesday to establish mobile fuel stations on the Batinah Expressway.

Mobile stations, which can be installed in month's time will be operational for two years, until the construction of the full-fledged fuel stations are completed.

Mobile fuel stations will encourage the users of all types and sizes of vehicles to take advantage of the Batinah Expressway.

It will be set up alongside the truck weighing stations at four sites taking into account the convenient entrances and exits points.

Fuel stations will operate 24/7.
