SUHAR: Sohar Mills Company, a subsidiary of Oman Flour Mills, will celebrate on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, the opening of grain storage silo complex at Sohar Port. The facility has been set up with an investment of RO 21 million.
The opening ceremony will be held under the auspices of Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
With a storage capacity of 160,000 tonnes, the Suhar silo considered one of the strategic national projects that will help create stockpiles of grain to meet the nation’s requirements. The project stems from Oman Flour Mills’ commitment to enhancing food security and securing strategic stockpiles of grain. - ONA
