Dentistry conference invites academic papers

MANGALURU, India:


The first ACE-Karnataka conference, organised by Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics of Karnataka and A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences under the NITTE (Deemed to be university) in Mangaluru has invited academic papers from experts in dentistry from across the world.


The high-profile convergence of nearly 300 specialists where hundreds of papers will be presented will be held in Mangaluru, on July 7, 8, and 9, 2022. The port city of the Indian state of Karnataka has become an educational hub for both domestic and international students over a period of time


"While equipping teachers and students to do research, it is important that we try to bridge the gap between academia and clinical practitioners," says Dr Mitra N Hegde (pictured), Vice-Principal and Chair of the Organising Committee told the Observer.


"Popularising and disseminating research findings should be seriously attempted. We should continue to reach out and establish relationships agreeing on a strategy of co-operation and coordination with clinical practitioners and academia and exercise greater stewardship of resources," Dr Mitra, who is also the Joint Secretary, ACE added.


This conference will have three plenary sessions, such as symposium, panel discussions and Q&A session which will foster discussions and is expected to inspire the students from a wide array of themes.


The conference is also expected to provide Industry Technology Platform – demonstration and hands on for all the registered


delegates and postgraduate students who will have the opportunity to present paper or e-poster pertaining to original research, case reports and reviews.


The Scientific Committee has also invited authors to submit their presentations for consideration and inclusion in the scientific programme has further mentioned that there is no restriction on the number of submission of papers/e-posters from an institution.


A participant cannot be author/co-author in more than one presentation and only candidates who have registered for the conference are eligible to submit the abstracts.


The last date to submit the online abstract is June 25 and shall not be longer than 300 words.
