MoH launches project to measure patients’ experience

Muscat: The Ministry of Health, represented by the Directorate-General of Quality Assurance Centre (DGQAC), launched the National Project for Measuring Patients’ Experience at Health Institutions, under the auspices of Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Health, on Wednesday.


The project is aimed at measuring the patients’ experiences and improving the quality of health services. It is one of the ministry’s initiatives that aims to engage the patients and their families in the improvement of health services through measuring their satisfaction after receiving medical services at various health institutions.


The Centre’s vision is to place the Sultanate of Oman as a world-class reference in the field of health service quality and patient safety. The Centre is committed to undertaking its professional responsibilities and contributing to the development of the health services system in line with the future vision to elevate the medical standing of the Sultanate of Oman globally and the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 to improve public health services.
