Muscat: Oman Post on Wednesday unveiled the Crystal Stamp of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik inspired by the first commemorative stamp of His Majesty issued by Oman Post last year.
This came during the opening of the “Stamps and Collectibles” shop of Oman Post in the “Opera Galleria” under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Kamel bin Fahd al Said.
“Stamps and Collectibles” shop will be the cultural and knowledge destination for hobbyists and fans of collecting stamps and rare collectibles around the Sultanate.
The shop is a qualitative leap for the stamps and collectibles sector, which the Sultanate has paid attention to since 1966 and perpetuates Omani treasures and the cultural and artistic values that stamps and collectibles reflect about Omani man, history and the Omani heritage over time.
The shop includes a number of the rarest stamps, collectibles and basic tools related to this hobby, in addition to the availability of Omani treasures represented in collectibles and books. --ONA
