MUSCAT: The Sultanate will host the 19th Arab Hospitals Federation (AHF) Forum, the Arab Healthcare Development Annual Forum (AHDAF), under the auspices of Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Health, today. The two-day annual forum is organised by the AFH in collaboration with the Arab ministries of health under the theme “Partnering to develop the healthcare sector”. The Muscat Declaration for Patient Safety 2018 will be signed during the opening ceremony. Besides, the AHF recognition awards 2018 that are granted for distinguished personalities and institutions of outstanding achievements and contributions in the field of health sector advancement will be distributed.
Held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, the forum is an initiative to assemble and discuss the most crucial healthcare policies, management practices and advances in the Arab countries addressing many subjects including visions and strategies to develop healthcare sector, universal health coverage, accreditation, quality and safety, leadership and talent management, healthcare technology management, and health tourism. — ONA
