MUSCAT, June 10 – Al Salam Club’s chairman Ali Hassan al Balushi confirmed that the board members of the club will be following up on the complaint that the club had lodged with the Oman Football Association (OFA) regarding unfair play in the last rounds of the Omantel League. Al Balushi pointed out that Al Salam’s complaint to OFA was proved with supporting videos from different matches and stated that they are awaiting the response from the OFA committee which is studying the case. The Al Salam chairman stated that if the OFA’s response does not convince them, they will escalate the complaint. The first copy will go to the integrity committee, Asian Football Confederation and the last copy to Fifa. Al Salam have been relegated to first division league as they are positioned at the 14th place with 30 points.
