Al Makarm participates in GCC tourney in Bahrain

MUSCAT, Sept 26 - Al Makarm Football Academy which is based in Barka is taking part in the fourth edition of GCC Football Academies Championship in Bahrain. The GCC-level tournament began on September 26 and will run up to September 29. As many as 16 academies will feature in the tournament including two international academies representing Arsenal and Real Madrid. “We are very pleased to represent the Sultanate in this edition of GCC tournament. We aim to improve the soccer culture among youngsters in the country. We focus to shape the young players with proper skills and required technical knowledge,” Khalid al Siyabi, owner of Al Makarm Football Academy, said. “Our preparations for this tournament started since one month ago. We hope to register good results in this edition,” Al Siyabi added. Al Makarm Academy will next participate in Hopes football festival tournament scheduled to be held in the UAE in November. Then, Al Makarm Academy will play in Muscat Festival football tournament in January 2019.
