MUSCAT, Sept 29 - Ahli Sidab team clinched the title of 13th women’s bowling tournament at the Oman Bowling Centre recently. The tournament — which lasted for three days from September 23 to 26 — was organised by the Ministry of Sports Affairs represented women sports activities directorate and featured ten teams representing different government and private sectors authorities and companies. Bikers Station team finished as second in the teams competitions while Royal Air Force Oman (RAFO) team claimed third position.
In the singles competitions, Sara al Maskari from Bikers Station team grabbed the first place with 756 points. Shakila al Aysiria from Ahli Sidab team got the second place with 713 points while Aiysha al Sibani from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) team clinched the third position award. At the end of the tournament, HH Sayyid Faris bin Fatik al Said, chief guest, distributed the awards to the top teams and players who achieved positive results in the tournament.
