MUSCAT, Sept 8 - The bodies of four Indian nationals who died in a road accident in Haima recently along with two Emiratis have been handed back to their families in India, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP) sources. “The four were on a trip to Dhofar Governorate. Their bodies were burnt beyond recognition in the crash. They have been identified and their bodies sent home,” said the source. The bodies of Ankur Sharma and Gaurav Sharma from Jaipur, Sushil Rukhaiyar from Aurangabad and Prashanth Nayak from Karnataka have been sent to their homeland, said a social worker who facilitated the repatriation. They were working for different companies in the UAE. The bodies of the two Emiratis were claimed by the families a day after the accident. According to the ROP source, the accident had left two Omanis seriously injured. They are recovering in a public hospital.
