MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of Indian Schools has constituted an Academic Cell comprising competent and experienced teachers of different subjects who would pool in best practices for excellence in scholastic and co-scholastic domains of learning. Wilson V George, Chairman of the Board of Directors, lauded the efforts of the Academic Sub-committee that has steered the concept after holding series of meetings with senior teachers of different subjects. In his inaugural address, the chairman emphasized the significance of collaborative learning, the hallmark of academic cell. Dr Baby Sam Samuel, member of the Academic Sub-committee of the Board, ran the whole gamut of the objectives and appreciated the concerted efforts of the teachers in providing the best education to students preparing them face challenges both in educational and social fronts.
