Observer Online- Muscat- Royal Oman Police (ROP) said in a statement said its Special Task Force (STF) arrested 79 people of various Asian nationalities in Seeb for violating the residence laws. Legal proceedings have been taken against for law violations.
Meanwhile, the Department of Investigation and Criminal Investigation arrested two Asian expatriates in Ibri on charges of forgery of medical documents. The police received a report from the medical fitness center to verify the forged stamps in the medical certificates of two domestic workers. Further investigations are underway.
In Seeb, Muscat municipality raided a house that was used as a warehouse for the storage of coal and accommodation for expats in a residential neighborhood illegally.
