NIZWA: The Higher Institute for Judiciary in the Wilayat of Nizwa in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah on Sunday celebrated the graduation of the third batch which comprises 54 male and female graduates.


The ceremony was held under the auspices of Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, in the presence of Shaikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Higher Institute for Judiciary, in addition to officials.


Dr Nabhan bin Rashid al Maawali, Dean of the Institute, in his speech said the batch comprises 27 judges (the 5th and 6th batch of Judiciary Division) and 27 Public Prosecution members (the 3rd and 4th batches of Public Prosecution Division). He added that the graduates have successfully completed the requirements for the higher education diploma in judiciary sciences.


He added that the number of graduates of the Higher Institute for Judiciary, since its establishment, stood at 113 judges, 10 members of the administrative judiciary court and 62 public prosecution members. At the end of the ceremony, the chief guest handed over the graduation certificates to the graduates. — ONA
