MUSCAT: Dr Zahran bin Salim al Salti, Director of the Community Service and Continuous Education Centre at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), said that as part of the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) Program which targets job-seekers who are SQU graduates, SQU provides 50 free of charge training seats in the field of cyber security. The offered seats include training, taking tests for ICDL at areas related to information system, computer engineering, computer sciences, information and education technologies. This initiative comes within the framework of cooperation between the Community Service and Continuous Education Centre and the Vocational Guidance Centre. He also noted that participants will be divided into three groups the third of which will conclude on December 21st 2016. The total training hours are 25 including two hours for the exam. — ONA
