Unsponsored visas for tourists from 3 countries

May 7 - Tourists from three more countries will be allowed to avail tourist visas to the Sultanate without a local sponsor.

Tourists from following countries, Iran, Russia and China, will be added to the list of countries receiving tourist visas to enter the Sultanate without a local sponsor,” ROP said in a statement on Monday.

The authorities, through a circular issued in November 2017, granted unsponsored tourist visas to nationals from certain countries, including China and Russia, who reside in, or hold an entry visa to one of the following countries - United States of America, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Schengen states.
