SNOW WOES: A picture taken by resident Camilla Daae-Qvale and provided by NTB Scanpix news agency on Wednesday shows the house of Daae-Qvale’s neighbour Bente Andreassen with a snow cornice overhanging their cabin, in Sarnes, Finnsnes, Norway. Camilla Daae-Qvale sent these pictures to her neighbour, who after seeing the photo chose to cancel their planned Easter holiday trip. Recently there have been increasingly reports of avalanches across the whole of Norway. — AFP
