301 CAS Nizwa students to graduate on Oct 25

NIZWA, Oct 17 - The College of Applied Sciences (CAS), Nizwa, will celebrate the graduation of its eighth batch of students for the academic year 2016-17 on October 25.


The celebration will be presided over by Rashad bin Ahmed al Hinai, Under-Secretary, Ministry of Sports Affairs.


A total of 301 graduates with bachelor and diploma degrees in three major programmes — Mass Communication, Design and International Business Management — will pass out on the occasion.


The main committee of the graduation ceremony held a meeting chaired by Dr Said bin Khalaf al Nabhani, Dean of the College. It discussed the main programmes of the ceremony.


It also discussed the placement of graduates, organising invitations, selecting anchor announcers, training students and preparing the venue.


Dr Said bin Khalaf al Nabhani said: “Faculty of Applied Sciences in Nizwa qualifies talented graduates with all skills to serve the nation. It is our responsibility to give the graduates the support they deserve. The students should take advantage of the opportunities to build their capacity.”
