300 organisations expected at oil and gas expo in March

MUSCAT: The Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference (OGWA 2018) will kick off on March 26, under the auspices of Mohammed bin al Zubair, Adviser to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs. The three-day event is organised by Oman Expo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Oil and Gas and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The exhibition, at which more than 300 public and private organisations from different parts of the world will take part, stretches over 22,000 square metres providing an opportunity to exchange expertise and review the latest technology.


The event targets companies from the GCC, Asia, Europe and Africa, which provide a rich market for the products and services of the Omani oil and gas companies. The event is the biggest for international oil and gas companies, as well as oil and gas technology and service suppliers. The participants will discuss a range of issues related to this important sector and will share views on the developments and challenges they are facing. — ONA
