A total of 28 seats are available for Omanis for higher studies in Tunisia and Morocco for the academic year 2017-18, the Ministry of Higher Education has said. The courses include PhD and post-graduate degrees. Fourteen seats have been earmarked for different degrees, including educational sciences, Islamic studies, administrative sciences, legal sciences, mass communication, Arabic language and literature.
The ministry held an online conference with Hilal al Izki, Director of Graduate Studies Department, via Twitter to answer the scholarship enquiries for PhD and Masters degrees in the two countries.
Omani Twitter users raised questions about the terms and conditions of registration, required documents, and level of universities and curricula.
