Women’s empowerment programme concludes

MUSCAT: The 6th version of Springboard programme was concluded on Monday at Grand Millennium Muscat under the auspices of Sayyida Dr Muna bint Fahd al Said, Assistant Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), for International Cooperation in the presence of Salim bin Musalam al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service for Administrative Development. 150 employees from the different administrative system units of the State took part in the three-month long program implemented by the Ministry of Civil Service in collaboration with Oman Qatari Telecommunication Company (Ooredoo). The programme aims at empowering the Omani woman with basic skills in a number of fields. The event was attended by a number of officials at the Ministry of Civil Service and Ooredoo. At the end of the ceremony, the chief guest honored winners at the projects of the program. — ONA
