Muscat: Oman Meteorology said it is following up the tropical situation in the Arabian Sea and will issue a report in the coming hours.
Oman Meteorology has followed up the weather conditions in the Arabian Sea and earlier confirmed it is in line with all possible weather variables during the current season ( October and November) . "It follows the established rules when monitoring any tropical situation that may affect the Sultanate’s climate," a statement said.
"The low pressure area over southeast Arabian Sea and neighbourhood has become well-marked in the early morning of Saturday and lay centred over southeast and adjoining east-central Arabian Sea . It is very likely to concentrate into a depression and move northwestward during next during next 24 hours. It is very likely to intensify into a Cyclonic Storm and move towards Oman Coast thereafter," reported the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD).
