WCAS weekend courses for working executives begins

MUSCAT: Working executives have great opportunity to enhance their educational career to further heights with weekend mode programmes being offered by the Waljat College of Applied Sciences (WCAS) in Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), a WCAS press release


said.


The weekend mode EMBA and BBA programmes are designed by Waljat College of Applied Sciences in academic partnership with Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India. It is aimed at giving an opportunity to working executives, who are unable to attend regular classes due to their work and family responsibilities.


“They can utilise their weekend timings to fulfil their ambition and passion by putting efforts to pursue higher studies and achieve their desired goals in the future. EMBA weekend programme, which was introduced in 2016, received good response from working executives across Oman. Classes starting from Friday (March 3),” the release said.


The EMBA and BBA programmes is globally recognised and is affiliated to Birla Institute of Technology, which is ranked 17th in India out of 8,000 colleges and universities.


“Waljat College of Applied Sciences has experienced faculty members, who will be imparting knowledge in the following areas of specialisations: Finance Management, Marketing Management and Human Resource Management,” said the release.
