‘Will Initiate for You’ voluntary team for cancer patients organised a sea trip recently in Marina Bandar Al Rowdha in association with the main sponsor of the trip, Sea Star company. Along with the team members, the trip included mediapersons, Dr Kaltham Mohammed al Zadjali, Samia and Marwa. The trip is an annual entertaining activity being organised by the team for cancer patients of Sultan Qaboos University Hospital and Royal Hospital. A number of male and female cancer patients from Sultan Qaboos Hospital joined the amazing trip. The Sea Star company, headed by Captain Said, has offered two attractive boats for the trip.

The journey started from Marina Bandar Al Rowdha heading to the depth of the sea to watch hundreds of beautiful dolphins. The boats then took the patients on a touristic trip crossing Al Khayran island, Al Trook island, Inkit, Yeti, Barr Al Jissah, Qantab island, Al Bustan, Al Haramil and back to Marina Bandar Al Rowdha to experience a range of delectable dishes in a traditional boat. ‘Will Initiate for You’ team aimed at providing entertainment to the patients and bringing smiles on their faces.

A patient, Jihad al Aamri from Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, told the Observer: “I have enjoyed the trip to the maximum. It is the first time that I am experiencing such a trip. I was waiting for such a day to enjoy myself”.

Sea Star company’s Captain Said bin Habib al Rahbi said: “Honestly we are very proud and happy to offer such a service to cancer patients. As an Omani company we feel accomplished by offering such services and we also do conduct trips for the charitable teams”.
