Muscat: The police in Muscat arrested two citizens on charges of stealing a vehicle and running over a person after hitting a road pavement in the Al-Muna area of Bausher Heights.
The accused who fled the scene of the accident were arrested following intense search operations, a statement from the ROP said.
The accused driver did not have a driver's license, the report said.
The police also arrested a person who was caught stealing a vehicle in Amerat while under the influence of alcohol.
