The Department of Special Education Programme, represented by the Department of Vocational Guidance, recently conducted training visits for students with mental disabilities for Grades 7 -9 to the Lulu Hypermarket to train them on work that suits their abilities and skills. Students spend one day a week at the mall to train themselves on the mentioned activities in the presence of school supervisors.
The program was aimed at developing the positive attitudes towards employing the people with disabilities in various fields. The programme will run from November to April next year, where students will receive a certificate of participation.
